âDiamond Shiga, while a bit dated, stands out for its unbeatable ski-in/ski-out location near the lifts in Shiga Kogen. I appreciate the large rooms and the friendly staff that tries their best to help you even with the language barrier. I think the included meals and onsen access offer real value, making it a practical choice for skiers looking for convenience and a taste of Japanese hospitality.â
